location was somewhat ok

This is definitely not a 4 star hotel. The rooms are smaller than average rooms. Our room wasn't cleaned on 2 out of 3 days. When asked we were told to leave the room in order to get it cleaned when we have already spent more than 9 hours outside our room

Castillo Rojo Hotel is a charming little boutique hotel. The rooms are simple, clean, and comfortable, perfect for a short or long stay. The atmosphere is quiet and welcoming, making you feel at home. The staff are kind and attentive, always ready to help. I would definitely choose this hotel again.

Breakfast with a good variety of food. Also the place where the breakfast was served is nice!The room was cleaned every day and the towels changed.Robert was very helpful and guided us with information to have a better experience.Very quiet area.

Dirty walls, sewage smell in the bathroom, and a little attention to hygiene while preparing breakfast.

Everything was awesome except the location that u needed to stop in front of the hotel not easy.

The road too narrow to walk or down plus not easy to park for loading down your luggages

Location is perfect. Close to the metro and sea side, and walking distance from blue mosque, shops, bazaar. Many restaurants literally outside this hotel.Bed was very comfortable.Staff at reception was always helpful and friendly. They arranged a taxi for me to the airport. (no need to deal with scam taxi drivers)Room cleaning is available every day.My room was small but expected for the price I paid. I spent 3 nights at this hotel.

The staff were nice. You are in the center of a very touristy area, which can be considered good or bad depending on what you are looking for.

The pictures are way nicer than the hotel itself. We had no WiFi during our 2 night stay, the wall in the bathroom was cracking, and the shower temperature was inconsistent. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel.

The location is good, but the room looks not good as the pictures show. The interior facilities are pretty old, the room is small.

The property is misrepresented on the Booking.com website. It does not meet the advertised 3/4-star standard, as the overall condition of the rooms is far worse than depicted in the images. During our stay, there was a very strong and unpleasant sewerage smell in both the bathrooms and rooms, making it extremely difficult to stay indoors. The bathrooms had a noticeable mouldy odor. The only positive aspect was the friendly staff.
